Expect Budget 2017 to focus on agriculture, education: Ajay Jain

The Union Budget of India is also referred to as the annual financial statement in the Article 112 of the Constitution of India, is the annual Budget of the Republic of India.

The Government will present it on the first day of February, so that it could be materialised before the commencement of new financial year in April.

Till 2016, Budget was presented on the last working day of February by the Finance Minister of India in Parliament.

The Budget, which is presented by means of the Finance Bill and the Appropriation Bill, has to be passed by both the Houses before it can come into effect from April 1, the start of India's financial year.

In 2017, departing from the colonial-era tradition of presenting the Union Budget on the last working day of February, Minister of Finance (India) Mr Arun Jaitley, in the NDA government (led by Bharatiya Janata Party) of Narendra Modi government announced that it will now be presented on February 1.

Additionally, Railway Budget, presented separately for 92 years is merged with Union Budget.  Budget 2017 will be historical in all respect.

As per astro economics, following  announcements are expected in union Budget 2017:

1. Budget is expected to be dedicated to middle class and financially poor class of the country
2. Main focus is expected to be on agriculture, education, health, higher education, technical education, infrastructure, economic housing, etc.
3. As per planets, special announcement for woman education, and development
4. Change in income-tax slab
5. Special announcement for print and electronic media
6. Focus on small scale industries, special schemes for increase employment
7. Focus on fright corridor for railway, promotion for railways for goods transportation, improve railway and promotion for tourism through railways.
8. Effective commercial use of railway properties
9. Improve and develop communication, spread internet to all panchayat levels
10. Provide water, road, electricity, primary health center and school to all villages
11. Guarantee for minimum employment to every villager through different scheme
12. Pension scheming for disable/old age persons
13. Special reservations for defense personnel, increase retirement/pension to defense forces.
14. Increase Budget for modernisation of defense forces and para-military forces
15. Special scheme for economical housing schemes, special status to housing sector
16. Special promotion for 100 percent export oriented unites
17. Set up multi-specialty hospitals, increase higher management and technical institutes.
18. Special incentives for new startups for youth
