Musk is not the only top executive of a company to see potential with Bitcoin.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently tweeted about Ethereum, making it the second time in a month he tweeted about a cryptocurrency.
After Bitcoin, Ethereum is currently the world's second largest cryprocurrency by market capitalisation.
Musk followed his tweet by another one saying "jk" or "just kidding", possibly to avoid getting into trouble after he agreed to have his tweets vetted by a securities lawyer.

Twitter previously blocked Musk’s account after he had tweeted about Bitcoin because the platform thought the account was hacked.
Musk recently had a settlement with the US market regulator Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) after he had been pulled up over a tweet where he claimed he had funding to take Tesla private.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin replied to Musk’s tweet, saying the Tesla CEO should have attended the Ethereum developer’s conference in October. In an apparently humorous reply, Musk asked Buterin to “stop giving away free ETH.”
