The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) barred the National Stock Exchange (NSE) from the securities market for six months. The market regulator ordered the exchange to 'disgorge' Rs 625 crore along with 12 percent per annum interest for failing to exercise due diligence while putting in place TBT (Tick-by-Tick) architecture in the co-location case.

Over the next six months, the NSE will not have access to the capital market in terms of IPOs.

In this episode of Editor's Take, Sakshi Batra gets in conversation with Moneycontrol Deputy Executive Editor Gaurav Choudhury to find out what exactly happened in the co-location case.
