Brent crude may hit $50/bbl by Dec on Iran deal: Citi

According to Main, it will take six months for sanctions on Iran to be lifted so the excess crude will come to the market with a lag.

Chris Main, Commodities Strategy Analyst at Citi expects a base case of USD 50/barrel for Brent crude by the end of the year because of the Iran nuclear deal. He tells CNBC-TV18 that Brent crude will hover around USD 55/barrel for the next couple of months.

According to Main, it will take six months for sanctions on Iran to be lifted so the excess crude will come to the market with a lag.
