Antony Waste Handling Cell share price rose nearly 10 percent intraday on August 13 following the company bagged two contracts worth Rs 3,200 crore.

Antony Waste Handling Cell was quoting at Rs 606, up Rs 27.25, or 4.71 percent, on the BSE.

Company's material subsidiary Antony Lara Enviro Solutions has received two new contracts each Rs 1600 crore, for development of waste-to-energy plants each with a capacity of ~15 MW at the Kadapa Cluster and Kurnool Cluster in Andhra Pradesh.

The contracts awarded by New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh for processing of MSW waste through material recovery facility and incinerate waste in waste to energy facility.
