Antony Waste Handling Cell share price rose nearly 10 percent intraday on August 13 following the company bagged two contracts worth Rs 3,200 crore.
Antony Waste Handling Cell was quoting at Rs 606, up Rs 27.25, or 4.71 percent, on the BSE.
Company's material subsidiary Antony Lara Enviro Solutions has received two new contracts each Rs 1600 crore, for development of waste-to-energy plants each with a capacity of ~15 MW at the Kadapa Cluster and Kurnool Cluster in Andhra Pradesh.
The contracts awarded by New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh for processing of MSW waste through material recovery facility and incinerate waste in waste to energy facility.
Each project will have a construction period of ~24 months from the date of concession agreement signing, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) execution, or land transfer whichever is later. The contract carries a concession period of 20 years.

The company has posted 8 percent jump in its Q1FY26 net profit at Rs 23 crore against Rs 21.3 crore in Q1FY25.
It has touched an intraday high of Rs 635.20 and an intraday low of Rs 603.50.
It was trading with volumes of 18,268 shares, compared to its five day average of 11,027 shares, an increase of 65.67 percent.
In the previous trading session, the share closed down 3.39 percent or Rs 20.30 at Rs 578.75.
The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 856.90 and a 52-week low of Rs 460.65 on 06 November, 2024 and 07 March, 2025, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 29.28 percent below its 52-week high and 31.55 percent above its 52-week low.
The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 1,719.96 crore.
