Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has been named as the most powerful CEO in the world by Forbes. The tech mogul, who also took the fifth spot on the Forbes ranking of the ‘World's Most Powerful People’ of 2018, left behind executives like Warren Buffet, Tim Cook and Elon Musk to top the 2018 list of ‘World's 10 Most Powerful Executives’.

The 45-year-old executive, who grabbed 10th place among the publication’s list of most powerful people, has a net worth of USD 51.1 billion.
At third position, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg stands with net worth of 74 billion. The second-most-famous Harvard dropout, who is the youngest CEO in the list at the age of 33, runs a company worth more than half a trillion dollars.
The next in the list is Warren Buffett, the oldest CEO in the list at the age of 87. Buffet, who recently retired from the board of Kraft Heinz, shows no sign of slowing down at Berkshire Hathaway, the company he acquired in 1963. His net worth is estimated as USD 85.3 billion.
The fifth position is taken by Jamie Dimon. Ranked number 19 on the overall list, Forbes calls Dimon the most powerful person on Wall Street. The CEO of JP Morgan, the largest bank in the world with over USD 2 trillion in assets under management, has net worth of USD 1.31 billion.
Executive chairman of Alibaba, one of the world’s largest e-commerce sites, Jack Ma is on the sixth position. Ma, who has also seen acting in the short Chinese kung fu film Gong shou dao, has net worth of USD 41.4 billion.
Walmart’s CEO Doug McMillon is on the seventh position among world’s top 10 powerful CEOs. As the CEO of Walmart, which is in news nowadays due to its acquisition deal with Flipkart, manages 2.3 million workers - roughly the number of people in China’s army.
Apple’s Tim Cook occupies the eighth position.
Tesla’s Elon Musk is on ninth position in the list with net worth of USD 19.6 billion. Called as “one of the major tech revolutionaries of our time”, Musk has given 25th position on the list of powerful people by Forbes.The last in the list is Tencent Holdings’ CEO Ma Huateng. Popularly known as Pony Ma, he is Asia’s richest man with estimated net worth of USD 45.8 billion.
