Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Vijay Mallya : Before being labelled a “fugitive”, Mallya was known to have run RCB with an iron fist. He was known to be restless for results, even taking up meetings at odd hours during flight layovers and did not take losing with dignity. RCB’s CEO Charu Sharma quitting in first few months of his appointment also rang alarm bells at the time. (Image: Reuters)

Chennai Super Kings | N Srinivasan: A once regular fixture on the Indian cricket board as its president, Srinivasan was revered for his sharp business acumen, and his strong conviction in Vaastu Shastra. He even ensured that the dressing room of the CSK was Vaastu compliant. But all of that went astray when his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan, also the CSK’s team principal, was found guilty of betting activities by the Supreme Court, along with other team members.
