Embassy Industrial Parks first to win World’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2017-18 Asia GCC Awards

The World’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2017-18 Award list uses extensive primary and secondary data research across 16 industries and 62 sub-categories, to select 100 winning brands and leaders from Asia and the Middle East

Embassy Industrial Parks, a joint venture between Embassy Group and Warburg Pincus, are the first-ever recipient of the World’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2017-18 Asia GCC Award from the logistics sector, the company said in a press release.

Jitu Virwani, Chairman and Managing Director of Embassy Group, on winning the award, said, “We, at Embassy Group, have always prided ourselves in our ability to see things well ahead of time and quickly sense where the future is heading. Being the first from the logistics fraternity to win this award bears testament to our foresight and vision. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter, both for Embassy Group and for the logistics sector in India.”

The World’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2017-18 Award list uses extensive primary and secondary data research across 16 industries and 62 sub-categories, to select 100 winning brands and leaders from Asia and the Middle East. Evaluation was carried out by the editorial team of URS media while audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers reviewed and validated the process.

Embassy Industrial Parks is one of the leading providers of warehousing and logistics solutions in India. The company is now expanding their portfolio of next-generation warehousing facilities to over 30 million sq. ft. within the next two years, the release stated. They have signed MoUs worth over Rs 10 billion each with the governments of Haryana and West Bengal, which will also result in job opportunities in the region. The company is developing industrial parks in Pune, Chennai, Kolkatta, Delhi NCR and is now looking to develop parks in close proximity to the metros of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai, it further added.
