Eicher Motors CFO Kaleeswaran Arunachalam resigns

The company has also stated that the appointment of a new CFO in his place would be intimated in due course.

    Eicher Motors, manufacturer of motorcycles and commercial vehicles, informed stock exchanges on August 25 that Kaleeswaran Arunachalam, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel of the company, has tendered his resignation and his last date would be September 2, 2022.

    The company has also stated that the appointment of a new CFO in his place would be intimated in due course.

    Kaleeswaran was a part of the Management Team of Royal Enfield, parent company of Eicher Motors and the leading manufacturer of oldest motorcycle brand. He replaced Lalit Malik, the organization's then CFO in the position.

    Arunachalam held important positions with Mondelez International in India and Asia before joining Eicher Motors. He also spent his early career with TVS Motor Company Limited and Aditya Birla Fashions Limited.

    Eicher Motors closed Rs 30.75 or 0.89% higher at Rs 3,481.45 on the National Stock Exchange today.

    Eicher Motors on August 10 reported consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 610.66 crore for the quarter ended June 2022, growing 157.5 percent from Rs 237 crore in the year-ago period. On a sequential basis, the profit was flat against Rs 610 crore in the January-March period.
