Khandu urges Goyal to include four zones in power grid project

The zones are Khup-Tawang, Rupai-Namsai, Bomdila-Kalaktang and Likabali-Basar, an official release said here stating that the request was made by the chief minister when he met Goyal in New Delhi yesterday.

The Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has urged the union Power Minister Piyush Goyal to include four left out zones in the 132 kv transmission grid project.

The zones are Khup-Tawang, Rupai-Namsai, Bomdila-Kalaktang and Likabali-Basar, an official release said here stating that the request was made by the chief minister when he met Goyal in New Delhi yesterday.

Khandu also pitched for consideration of a proposal for 89 mw solar park at Tezu.

The chief minister also requested the union ministry to consider for reopening of the Namchik-Namphuk coal field, it said.
