India's outward direct investment in September slowed to around USD 1.3 billion from USD 1.9 billion in August, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India on Thursday.


Outward direct investments comprise equity, bank guarantees and loans. In September 2012, it was USD 1.6 billion.
