Symphony shares dropped 8 percent on Wednesday after the company reported a net loss of Rs 10 crore for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2024. The company reported a net loss of Rs 41 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous year.
Shares of Symphony Ltd dropped to an intraday low of Rs 1,276.30 per share on the NSE, declining 10.65 percent. At around 3:10 PM, the shares were pared some losses to trade at Rs 1,300.45, down 8.96 percent.
The company posted a one-time loss of Rs 46 crore.
The company reported that its revenue was down 2 percent at Rs 242 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 247 crore in the year-ago period, Symphony said in a regulatory filing.
The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was down 34 percent at Rs 29 crore from Rs 44 crore in the same period last fiscal, while the margin was reported at 12 percent against 17.8 percent on-year.
