Snowman Logistics Ltd, one of the largest integrated temperature controlled logistics service providers in India, today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 14.25 crore in the Q4 2015 compared to Rs 5.84 crore in the preceding quarter ended December 2015.
The figures are not comparable as company announced its first annual results after it listed on the stock exchanges in September 2014. The company's net sales stood at Rs 53.84 crore in Q4 2015 as against Rs 51.29 crore in quarter ended December 2014.
Zensar Tech Q4 net up 30% at Rs 72 crore. Zensar Technologies today reported a 30 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 71.80 crore for the quarter to March over the same period the previous fiscal.
For the period under review, the company reported net sales of Rs 657.57 crore as against Rs 602.54 crore in the same quarter last year.
"Zensar has been focusing on new client acquisition and strategic deals in core markets with significant traction in large Fortune 1,000 companies, which has resulted in good wins and a substantial order pipeline in our chosen verticals and markets," Zensar vice chairman and chief executive Ganesh Natarajan said in a statement.
Quantum AMC launches Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund - Quantum Asset Management Company announced here today that it has launched its Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund (QDBF), which is an open-ended debt scheme with defined credit exposure and dynamic maturity profile.
The fund seeks to generate income and capital appreciation through active management of portfolio consisting of short term and long term debt and money market instruments, Quantum AMC Head of Fixed Income Murthy Nagarajan said in a statement.
IFC partners with PFC tie-up to fund renewable energy projects IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and PTC India Financial Services Ltd (PFS) today entered into an agreement to finance renewable energy projects.
"The partnership will provide much-needed infrastructure financing for renewable energy projects in India. These investments will, in turn, help boost growth and create jobs," PFS Managing Director and CEO R M Malla said.
PFS becomes the first institution in India, and the twenty-sixth globally, to sign IFC�s master cooperation agreement, he said.
Open Interest in currency derivatives jumps - Open Interest (OI) in currency derivatives crossed 50 lakh contracts today in the National Stock Exchange. Total OI in currency derivatives trades crossed the psychological mark of 50 lakh to 52.30 lakh and this was the highest in this month, a NSE spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Since April 21, exchange data showed OI had gradually increased in the bourse from 41 lakh to 48 lakh till yesterday.
