Siemens Q3 profit seen up 4%, revenue may grow 8%: Poll

Operating profit (EBITDA - earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) may grow 10.6 percent year-on-year to Rs 280 crore and margin may rise 30 basis points to 10.9 percent in Q1.

Engineering company Siemens is likely to report a 4.4 percent growth in June quarter profit at Rs 175 crore and 8 percent in revenue at Rs 2,566 crore on yearly basis, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

Operating profit (EBITDA - earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) may grow 10.6 percent year-on-year to Rs 280 crore and margin may rise 30 basis points to 10.9 percent in Q1. The company follows October-September as its financial year.

Analysts expect the effect of strong growth in mobility and building technologies to get partly negated by decline in power & gas and energy management segments. They expect margin to be stable across segments excluding the mobility segment.

Key issues to watch out for would be margin and raw material import (that accounts for 55 percent of raw material cost).
