Shilpa Medicare Q2 profit up 64% to Rs 38 cr on revenue, EBITDA

    Healthcare company Shilpa Medicare said consolidated profit during July-September quarter increased 64 percent year-on-year to Rs 38.2 crore. The bottomline growth was driven by revenue as well as operational performance.

    Total income from operations in Q2 jumped 21.1 percent to Rs 211.3 crore compared with Rs 174.5 crore in corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

    EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) grew by 25.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 49.9 crore and margin expanded by 90 basis points to 23.2 percent in the quarter ended September 2016.

    At 15:20 hours IST, the stock was quoting at Rs 622.15, up Rs 49.85, or 8.71 percent amid high volumes on the BSE.
