Multiplex operator INOX Leisure on Friday reported over four-fold increase in standalone net profit at Rs 22.56 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015 on higher sales.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 4.58 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, INOX Leisure said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 302.69 crore in the April-June quarter, up 35.32 percent compared to Rs 223.68 crore during the same period previous fiscal.
Overall expenses in the quarter under review stood at Rs 271.09 crore as against Rs 221.1 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, an increase of 22.60 percent.
The company's scrip closed at Rs 207.65 apiece, up 5.84 percent from its previous close, on the BSE.
