Hathway Cable and Datacom's first quarter standalone net loss may widen to Rs 50.4 crore from Rs 0.91 crore in the year-ago period. In Q1FY15, it saw an exceptional gain of Rs 28.9 crore due to change in depreciation method. Adjusted net loss for Q1FY15 was Rs 29.8 crore.

Revenue is seen rising 10 percent to Rs 275.3 crore in June quarter compared to Rs 250.2 crore in same quarter last year, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

Revenue growth may be driven by broadband business (which may grow 6-8 percent Q-o-Q). Smarter packaging of channels may drive revenue higher.

Cable revenue may be slow (up 2-4 percent Q-o-Q) on account of deferred deadline for digitisation in Phase 3 & 4 cities.

Average revenue per user is expected at Rs 105 in Phase 1 and Rs 72 in Phase 2 market on sequential basis. Net subscribers addition may be in the range of 80,000-1,00,000 Q-o-Q.

Delays in implementation of gross billing may weigh on operating profit that may fall 21 percent year-on-year to Rs 34.5 crore and margin may contract 500 basis points to 12.5 percent in June quarter.
