The company's standalone net profit rose 43 percent at Rs 474 crore and revenue jumped 75.3 percent at Rs 4,428.3 crore.
Grasim Industries has posted 17.4 percent declined in its consolidated third quarter (Oct-Dec) net profit at Rs 786.9 crore against Rs 952.3 crore, in the same quarter last year.
Meanwhile, revenue of the company was up 77.8 percent at Rs 15,291 crore versus Rs 8,601 crore.
On Standalone basis, the company registered 43 percent jump in its net profit at Rs 474 crore and revenue jumped 75.3 percent at Rs 4,428.3 crore.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) was up 60.9 percent at Rs 873.5 crore and EBITDA margin was down 180 bps at 19.7percent.
The company in its board meeting held on February 13, has approved brownfiled expansion of VSF Capacity at Vilayat (Gujarat) for a cash capex commitment of Rs 3,523 crore.
The total VSF capacity will increase by 58 percent to 788K TPA after including the on-going expansion and de-bottling plans.At 14:54 hrs Grasim Industries was quoting at Rs 1,141.95, up Rs 9.50, or 0.84 percent.
