Future Enterprises Q4 net loss widens to Rs 2,296 crore, revenue dips 13%

Future Enterprises on Wednesday said its consolidated net loss widened to Rs 2,295.90 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2022 due to factors including failure of the deal with Reliance, attrition of employees and litigations.

The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 281.76 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago, Future Enterprises Ltd (FEL) said in a regulatory filing.

Its revenue from operations during the quarter under review was down 13.15 per cent to Rs 473.83 crore. It was at Rs 545.63 crore in the March quarter of FY21. During the quarter, total expenses were 36.38 per cent higher at Rs 1,131.05 crore from Rs 829.33 crore in the year-ago period, it said.

However, for the financial year ended March 31, 2022, FEL's revenue from operations was up 54.23 per cent at Rs 2,193.93 crore. It was Rs 1,422.14 crore in FY21. Its consolidated net loss for FY22 widened to Rs 3,172.72 crore as against Rs 1,220.17 crore a year ago.
