Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals today reported a 13.22 percent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 50.68 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs 44.76 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated total income from operations of the company however declined to Rs 362.07 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 392.11 crore, it added.
In a separate filing to the bourses the company said its board has declared an interim dividend at 60 percent (i.e. Rs 1.20 per equity share of Rs 2 each) on 16,13,94,272 equity shares for the financial year 2016- 2017.
Shares of Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals today closed at Rs 224.70 per scrip on BSE, down 1.17 percent from its previous close.
