Healthcare services provider Apollo Hospitals Enterprise posted 77 percent rise in its consolidated net profit for Q4FY24 at Rs 258 crore on May 30. Apollo Hospitals had clocked in a net profit of Rs 146 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
With this, the company's bottomline came in line with Moneycontrol's estimated net profit of Rs 257 crore.
Revenue rose 15 percent on year to Rs 4,944 crore as against Rs 4,302 crore clocked in the corresponding quarter a year ago. The Street had pegged the company's revenue at around Rs 4,927 crore.
The hospital chain said that its board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per share to the shareholders for FY2023-24. It has fixed 17 August 2024 as the record date for the final dividend.
Apollo Hospitals has also re-appointed Dr. Prathap C Reddy as a wholetime director designated as Executive Chairman for a period of two years wef 25th June 2024, subject to approval of the shareholders.
Meanwhile, the hospital operator's operational performance also improved on year, thanks to reduced losses from its online arm, Apollo HealthCo.
Shares of the company on May 30, closed 2.5 percent lower at Rs 5,761 apiece on BSE.
