5paisa Capital reported a 39 percent YoY increase in net profit to Rs 20 crore in the quarter ending June 2024, while its revenue went up by 49 percent YoY to Rs 102 crore in the same period.
Total expenses came at Rs 75 crore in the quarter against Rs 65 crore in the previous year.
The company's market share went up from 1.8 percent in Q1FY24 to 2.1 percent in Q1FY25. Total client acquisitions stood at 1.08 lakh in Q1FY24 and increased to 2.34 lakh in Q1FY25.
5paisa Capital is a discount brokerage arm of IIFL Holdings which provides equity research, equities, commodities, trading services.
Shares of 5paisa Capital closed at Rs 500.25, around 0.44 percent higher on the NSE.
