At a Cabinet meet today to discuss a change in the urea subsidy policy, higher subsidies are likely to be paid to companies who perform better based on import parity.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Kapil Mehan, MD & Group CEO of Zuari Agro Chemicals said the Cabinet should look into the method of subsidy collection.
Talking about business, he said the company will be able to increase production if the urea policy gets implemented.
He added urea contributes 40 percent to company's total revenue.
