In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Hiren Gada, Wholetime Director & CFO of Shemaroo Entertainment and Kapil Agarwal, Joint MD of UFO Moviez spoke about the latest happenings in the sector and the outlook for their companies respectively.
We have two streams of revenues; the traditional media which has been declining as a share of the overall pie as the new media business has been growing, said Gada.
He further said that we are looking to grow new media business at 30-35 percent per year.
Talking about content, he said company's movie contents are displayed on all major platforms.
UFO Moviez's Agarwal said that government spend on advertising has declined substantially.
He further added that half of company's advertisement revenue comes from the government.
