After Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, Punjab waives off loans. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, HP Singh, Founder & MD of Satin Creditcare Network gave the reality check.
We have about 12 percent exposure in Punjab in terms of our assets under management (AUM), said Singh.
According to him, loan waivers put pressure as credit culture gets impacted.
However, he expects more liquidity in hands of borrowers due to this farm loan waiver.
Have 20,000 zero-collection clients out of total three-and-a-half lakh in Punjab, he added.
