The world's largest distiller is betting big on India! This week, Diageo opened the Johnnie Walker Travel House at Mumbai's T2 airport - it's fourth after Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul. And last month, it launched it's global campaign for Johnnie Walker Blue Label in the country with much fanfare. Remember India is the world's largest whiskey market and after upping it's stake recently in the Vijay Mallya owned United Spirits, Diageo-USL is India's largest spirits maker. So how will this alliance help market the Scotch whiskey brand? And how does it plan to take on local brands? I am joined by the MD of Diageo Reserve, James Thompson for those answers.
