Goldman Sachs initiative trained over 1300 women in India

In India the initiative has reached 1300 women and counting. And now, Goldman has launched a fund with IFC - to fund the aspirations of such women entrepreneurs.

Investing in women leads to economic growth and job creation, says one of the world's best known investment banks Goldman Sachs and is putting its money where its mouth is. 10,000 WOMEN is a global programme run by Goldman Sachs to give under-served women entrepreneurs a business and management education.

In India the initiative has reached 1300 women and counting. And now, Goldman has launched a fund with IFC - to fund the aspirations of such women entrepreneurs. On the special occasion of Women’s Day, CNBC-TV18 spoke to SV Bunty Bohra, CEO, Goldman Sachs Services India.
