FMCG sector to grow 8-10% in Q2, Q3 of next year: Marico

The CII National FMCG Summit is underway. A report titled “Winning with the Indian Consumers” unveiled at the summit says that the sector is expected to grow over 15 percent in next two to three years. CNBC-TV18’s Priya Sheth caught up with Saugata Gupta, MD & CEO of Marico who said that the sector is likely to grow 8-10 percent in Q2 and Q3 of next year. The company has already gone back to the pre-demonetised levels. Marico is targeting double-digit topline growth for the sector in next two years. Suresh Narayanan, Chairman & MD of Nestle India said that it is likely to launch new brands with exiting categories and new categories both.
