EXL Q2 net profit up 24 percent at USD 20.3 million
The Nasdaq-listed firm had recorded a net profit of USD 16.3 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2016.

Business process management firm Exl Service Holdings today reported a 24.4 percent jump in net profit to USD 20.3 million (around Rs 130 crore) for June 2017 quarter.
EXL's revenue grew 10.8 percent to USD 189.05 million in the reported quarter as against USD 170.47 million in the year-ago period.
"In the second quarter of 2017, EXL had strong revenue growth...Revenue growth for the second quarter was led by our analytics segment which grew 30.2 per cent year-over-year. Our operations management business grew 5.1 per cent year-on-year," EXL Vice Chairman and CEO Rohit Kapoor said.
The company has increased its revenue guidance for 2017 to USD 748-762 million from USD 740-760 million earlier to reflect better performance in the second quarter and favourable exchange rates versus the US dollar, company's CFO Vishal Chhibbar said.
