DoCoMo drags Tata Group to US court

LCIA has asked Tata Tele to pay USD 1.2 billion to DoCoMo. Until DoCoMo receives the full amount due, it will continue to seek enforcement globally.

The fight between the Tatas and NTT DoCoMo is only intensifying. In its latest salvo, DoCoMo has filed a case against Tata Sons in a United States court to enforce the LCIA (London Court Of International Arbitration) Award. The LCIA had ruled in favour of DoCoMo in its dispute with Tata Group regarding its exit from the joint venture with Tata Teleservices.LCIA has asked Tata Tele to pay USD 1.2 billion to DoCoMo.
