DLF's Pia Singh resigns from post of whole-time director

Realty major DLF said Pia Singh, daughter of company's chairman K P Singh, has resigned as a whole-time director but will continue as a non-executive member of the board.

    Realty major DLF said Pia Singh, daughter of company's chairman K P Singh, has resigned as a whole-time director but will continue as a non-executive member of the board.

    Pia Singh had 1.2percent stake in the company as on March 31.

    DLF said the company's board, in its meeting held on May 20, has "accepted the resignation of Ms Pia Singh from the position of Whole-time Director. However, she will continue as Non-executive Director on the Board."

    The board also appointed A S Minocha as a non-executive Independent Director, DLF said in a filing to the BSE.

    Minocha is a Chartered Account, Company Secretary and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Delhi having 50 years of industry experience, it added.

    Rajiv Singh, son of KP Singh, is the Vice Chairman of DLF.

    DLF promoters have 74.91percent stake in the company.

    Rajiv Singh has 0.92percent stake and K P Singh 0.59percent.

    Mohit Gujral and Rajeev Talwar are whole-time directors on the board. DLF has a land bank of 290 million sq ft, of which 46 million sq ft is under construction.
