Suzlon Energy gets Rs 483 crore worth orders in India

Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy has got 85 mega watt worth orders valued at Rs 483 crore from various companies in India.

    Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy has got 85 mega watt worth orders valued at Rs 483 crore from various companies in India.


    More than 40% of these are repeat orders, Suzlon said on Wednesday.


    Among the customers include public sector company Gail India, which has placed 14.7 mw order to be commissioned in Gujarat in six months. Other orders include those from KRBL, Varun Industries, Oswal Group and Khatau Narbheram & Co, it said.

    Suzlon Energy shares surged almost 5% to Rs 42.25 post the announcement in morning trade.
