Wipro Consumer Care has bought soap brands Aramusk and Moloy from Mumbai-based VVF Ltd for an undisclosed amount. Both the companies have confirmed the deal, reports The Economic Times.
VVF had earlier acquired these brands from German consumer products firm Henkel. Aramusk is a deodorant soap for men and Moloy is a sandalwood soap, the report says."Both the brands are a strategic fit into our personal care portfolio. Aramusk has a lot of latent equity in the market, while Moloy enjoys strong brand recall in the eastern part of India," said Anil Chugh, senior vice-president, Wipro Consumer, the report adds.Source: The Economic Times
