IOCL's new order swells book to Rs 270cr: Confidence Petro

After bagging an order worth Rs 42 crore from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), Nitin Khara, the company’s chairman and managing director says there are possibilities to win more such repeat orders in the near future.

After bagging an order worth Rs 42 crore from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), Nitin Khara, Confidence Petroleum's chairman and managing director says there are possibilities to win more such repeat orders in the near future. Going forward, Khara says IOCL's Rajiv Gandhi Vitrak scheme has raised hopes for winning tender every six months.

The company that manufactures LPG and CNG cylinders, with the new contract has now pushed the order book to Rs 270 crore. The company expects 30-40% more recurrent order coming their way from the oil major clientele. "Whenever we complete a particular quantity, we approach the companies again and once more get repeat orders," says Khara. Further, he says, "the CNG cylinders order book is almost Rs 130 crore at present, while the auto LPG station segment is growing with increasing volumes and soaring revenues."
