The spat between Sahara and SEBI has been going on for some time now. Today, Subrata Roy promoted Sahara began its arguments at the securities appellate tribunal (SAT).


The registrar of companies (RoC) under the ministry of corporate affairs initially was at the receiving end of Sahara's arguments.


Sahara indicated that the RoC was not a mere record keeper, but had the power to accept or reject the company
