Power producers want duty sops on equipments: CBEC chairman

CBEC chairman SK Goel said that private sector power producers had asked for duty sops even as DEA secretary R Gopalan acknowledged that many of the demands were already before the govt.
"Power sector manufacturers have asked for duty concessions for  coal and power equipments," Goel says.
To which Gopala adds, "These are all issues which are to be discussed and debated. We will look into all of them. There is a structure by which these things will be taken up."
