The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported marginal rise in total sales at 4,87,545 units for July this year.
In the same month last year, it had sold 4,84,217 units, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
Also read: M&M total auto sales fall 21%, tractors up 12% in July Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said: "Our growth in July has come in the wake of good demand for our motorcycle brands such as Glamour and Ignitor and our scooter models Pleasure and Maestro.
"We are hopeful of sustaining this positive momentum in the coming months as we gear up for the festive season which would see a slew of launches from us."
