Welspun bags orders worth Rs 1,738 crore

Welspun Corporation, a large diameter pipe manufacturer, today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 1,738 crore from overseas and domestic markets.

"Welspun Corporation has won pipes orders worth Rs 1,738 crore from international and domestic markets. With the addition of these orders, the current order book of the company stands at Rs 9,185 crore," the company said in a statement.
    
Commenting on the the receipt of the new orders, Welspun Group Chairman B K Goenka said, "These new orders largely from Middle East, re-affirms Welspun's leadership position. Welspun has thus achieved an order book of more than one million tonne."
