State-run Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has completely put out a fire at its Taloja depot, its chairman BM Bansal said on Tuesday.

A fire broke out early Tuesday at the state-run refiner's Taloja depot, in the outskirts of Mumbai, which stored lube oil for packaging into containers. It had had no stocks of crude oil, said GC Daga, director for marketing at IOC.

In November 2009, fire struck an IOC terminal in the northwestern city of Jaipur, killing at least six people.
