Reliance Comm adds 3.28 m mobile users in Dec

Indian telecom companies declared their sales numbers for the month of December. Reliance Communications added 3.28 million mobile users in December and country's largest telecom player Bharti Airtel added 3.1 million GSM users in same month, which was flat compared to previous month.

Indian telecom companies declared their sales numbers for the month of December. Reliance Communications added 3.28 million mobile users in December and country's largest telecom player Bharti Airtel added 3.1 million GSM users in same month, which was flat compared to previous month.

Aditya Birla group company Idea Cellular added 2.95 million GSM users in versus 2.8 million, a rise of 5.4% on month-on-month basis. However, state-run MTNL added just 24,731 GSM users in December, which declined 33.36% compared to 37,110 users in previous month. Uninor added 2.31 million GSM users as against 2.44 million while Etisalat doubled GSM users addition to 1.32 lakh in December as against 61,223 users added in November.
