Riding high on the success of the Figo and Endeavour models, Ford India is planning eight new models by 2015, said Anurag Mehrotra, Vice-President (Marketing), of the US auto major, reports The Economic Times.

The customer response has been tremendous with the company posting its best ever monthly sales performance in 2011, according to the paper.  In January alone, the car maker sold over 100,000 units. The company is now focusing its attention on its eight new launches set to hit the Indian car market in the next four years. The newspaper also quotes Mehrotra saying that Ford India is looking at expanding its network across the country by appointing 30 more dealers. At present, they have 170 dealers.
