Just few days after CNBC-TV18 exposed irregularities in the implementation of the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, officials in Bikaner have swung into action.

CNBC-TV18's investigation exposed how National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) cards have been bought and sold.

Local newspapers highlighted that CNBC-TV18 report forced the Rural Development Ministry in Delhi to swing into action. The District Collector of Bikaner has ordered an enquiry.
