    He further said that the MFI sector is likely to always face challenges, so the bank will have to be careful and diversify.

    “Don’t anticipate the MFI book to impact our numbers going ahead. We are cautiously growing our MFI book in pockets and other engines of bank will pick up slack until MFI picks up. Don't see the need for any capital raising over the next 8-12 months,” Ahuja added.

    He added: “Our cost of credit is expected to normalise very quickly. Our Capital Adequacy gives us ample opportunities to keep growing our business. Our slippages peaked in Q2; Further, RBL Bank’s net NPA position is expected to go below two percent over the next 3-4 months. Traction on advances is also picking up and will continue to get better.”
