NIIT Ltd has informed BSE that NIIT China (Shanghai) Limited, a second level step down subsidiary Company of the Company, has signed a strategic level MOU with Hainan Resort Science & Technology City Development Service Co., Ltd., wherein NIIT will support a large-scale talent development project aimed at creating a Human Capacity infrastructure in the Hainan Province. This project is approved by China’s National Development and Reform Commission over a 5 year time frame starting 2013, NIIT’s participation in this project will be through creation of trained manpower for Hainan’s IT outsourcing.The aforesaid MOU is a preliminary understanding at this stage and exact nature of obligations / duties of the parties shall be finalized only subsequently after mutual discussions.Source : BSE
