Increased stressful situations in one’s life may be a trigger for the onset or  relapse of this condition.

Confusion and clash

In such conditions, the person becomes unable to make decisions when presented with a situation.

Hearing voices, arguing

The person may feel as if voices are talking about them. They may hear  two or more voices .

Neologism or new words

It means creating new words or phrases for day-to-day things — words that do not exist in the dictionary. They may also use normal words in a bizarre way.

Echolalia, mimicking words

The person affected with schizophrenia may repeat and echo the words or sentences spoken by the person  talking to them.

Over-inclusion

At times, people may tend to include extra or irrelevant words in their  speech when they’re suffering  from schizophrenia.

Hallucination and delusion

They may hear sounds, or even hear voices commenting on their actions. Visual hallucinations may be seen; however, they’re less common than auditory ones.
