National infertility awareness Week is observed from April 21 to 27 and it's crucial to bring attention around some of the overlooked fertility concerns. Impotence, also recognized as erectile dysfunction (ED), is characterized by difficulties in getting or maintaining an erection. This condition refers to the inability to achieve or maintain an erection firm enough for
satisfactory sexual intercourse.

Despite a prevalent misconception linking erectile dysfunction (ED) with infertility, it's important to clarify that ED does not equate to infertility; however, it can contribute to infertility. Identifying the underlying causes of the condition is crucial in addressing infertility related to ED. It's essential to acknowledge that infertility has numerous causes, with ED being just one of the factors contributing to this complex issue.
