What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness means paying attention, on purpose, in the moment, without judging your thoughts or surroundings as good or bad

Notice your breath

Tuning into your breath brings you  back to the present and helps your body  and brain naturally slow down

Start the morning slowly

Spend five minutes focusing on how you breathe or drink your tea without reaching for your phone or overthinking the day

Walk with awareness

Instead of scrolling or rushing, pay attention to the sensation of your feet touching the ground when walking anywhere, even briefly

Eat with intention

Put your phone away and chew slowly, notice flavours, textures, and how you feel when you stop eating mindlessly

Use short pauses

Before replying to a message or switching tasks, take a single conscious breath and ground yourself in the moment

When you feel stressed, stop and name the emotion without judging it, it teaches your brain to let go more easily

Spend 10 minutes without screens, sit in silence, journal, or just listen to natural sounds around you without rushing back
