A shocking CCTV video has surfaced showing two armed men opening fire outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s family home in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place in the early hours of September 12 and has sent shockwaves across the city.

The footage, which has now been widely circulated, shows two men arriving on a motorcycle. One of them pulls out a firearm and opens fire indiscriminately, even firing two aerial rounds before fleeing the scene. The sudden attack created panic in the locality, although no family members were injured in the incident.

According to police sources, the attack was later claimed by the Goldy Brar–Rohit Godara gang. The gang alleged that the firing was a retaliation for controversial remarks made by Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani, about spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya. Her comments, which reportedly criticised Aniruddhacharya’s stance on live-in relationships, became the focal point of the gang’s anger.

Following the incident, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) launched a massive manhunt for the suspects. On Wednesday, they tracked down the two accused, identified as Ravindra alias Kallu and Arun, in Ghaziabad’s Tronica City. Both men, said to be active members of the Brar-Godara gang, attempted to escape when cornered.

An encounter ensued after the suspects opened fire on STF personnel. Both Ravindra and Arun were injured in the exchange of bullets and later succumbed to their injuries at a nearby hospital. STF officials recovered a Glock pistol, a Zigana pistol, and multiple live cartridges from the scene, strengthening the link between the shooters and the notorious gang.
