Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal are coming together in Netflix's upcoming crime thriller Sector 36. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, this highly anticipated film is set to release on September 13th. The movie marks the directorial debut of Aditya Nimbalkar, who previously contributed to the acclaimed film Talvar directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Vikrant Massey recently took to Instagram to share the first look poster of Sector 36, and it’s safe to say that fans were left stunned. Vikrant bMassey, known for his boy-next-door charm, appeared almost unrecognizable in his new avatar. The 12th Fail star captioned the post, "Unexplained disappearances, a deadly chase, and the dark truth. The incredible Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal star in this chilling crime-thriller, inspired by true events. Sector 36 coming on 13th September, only on Netflix."

The post quickly garnered attention, with fans flooding the comments section. One user remarked, "Ye Vikrant jaisa to lag nahi raha?" expressing surprise at his transformation. Another confidently stated, "THIS WILL BE FILM OF THE YEAR..." while a third user speculated, "Nithari pe hai kya?" referring to the notorious real-life case that might have inspired the plot.

Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films remarked that the story delves into the human psyche, exploring themes of power dynamics, social inequality, and the hunter versus the hunted. Dinesh Vijan expressed his excitement about collaborating with Netflix once again, stating, "We are excited to work with Netflix again and on a story like Sector 36, which is an intensely sensory film. For us, it's a story that we felt was crucial to be told. The film is layered, delving deeply into the human psyche, exploring the hunter and the hunted, the haves and the have-nots. Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal deliver outstanding performances, and we couldn’t be prouder of their work."
