Varun Dhawan reveals a shocking incident when a 'wife of a powerful man' stalked him and entered his house; says, 'It became very scary'

Varun Dhawan recently opened up about a harrowing experience that left him and his family shaken. Known for his massive fanbase and active presence on social media, the Baby John actor shared a shocking incident involving a fan who turned out to be the wife of a very powerful man.

Speaking to Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, Varun revealed that a woman had entered his house without his permission, causing a frightening situation that ultimately required police intervention. He described the woman as being catfished by someone using his name, leading her to believe she had a personal relationship with him.

Varun recounted, "And that lady was the wife of a very powerful man. I can’t say what position… but a very powerful man, and she was being catfished. Someone was talking to her using my name. She knew everything about my house and she thought I was going to leave my family. It became very scary. She came with someone, and it became a family thing, and some female constables came in and they handled it."

The situation escalated to the point where Varun had to call the police to manage the intruder. He further explained how serious the incident became, saying, "People have run away from their homes, stayed three nights on a beach, we have had to call the cops." He also recounted another unsettling incident where a fan forcibly kissed him, an experience he found deeply uncomfortable.

Varun expressed empathy for women who face similar situations. "I feel bad for the women because I straightaway put myself in their position. If this is happening with me, it must be worse with them,” he said.

On the work front, Varun has an impressive lineup of films ahead, starting with Border 2 alongside Sunny Deol. Following that, he will star in the comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor and No Entry 2, sharing the screen with Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.
